Metaphysician
The term "meta" originates from Greek (μετά-) and translates to "after" or "beyond." When this prefix is applied to levels of meaning, it implies a concept that transcends the conventional role of a physician.
"A metaphysician is a doctor/healer who influences the physical realm through metaphysical (i.e., distinctly non-‘physical’) principles.
We are eternal souls, manifestations of the divine, created and nurtured in love by God. This represents our authentic essence. It is our soul that bestows upon us life and consciousness.

My practical use of the term "metaphysician" in a medical context reflects my continuous pursuit to comprehend the essential principles of health and healing through various traditions, healing arts, and modalities. Western medicine employs a legitimate, albeit partial, methodology towards health, wellness, and healing. I have explored numerous alternative approaches and recognize the value and truth present in many non-Western modalities. In this regard, I have transcended my conventional training.
